5 ‘Tokyo Ghoul’ Real Life Locations in Tokyo
With the word ‘Tokyo’ literally in the title of the anime, I’m sure it will come of no surprise to you all that there are tons of locations in Tokyo that where featured in the anime Tokyo Ghoul. Many of the towns, areas and locations are all real and actually exist in Tokyo! If you’re a fan of the anime and are wanting to visit some of these locations in real life, make sure to keep reading to find out 4 real life locations that were featured in ‘Tokyo Ghoul’.
1. Kichijoji
As you can see from the photos above, Kichijoji was featured towards the beginning of the anime when Ken and Hideyoshi meet Nishio and fight. The above shot featured in the anime looks almost identical to the real life place! The only difference is that there are tons more people in real life. When I re-watched the scene after I had visited Kichijoji in real life, i realized the anime did an amazing job of catching the small town’s vibe and energy…it is easily recognizable as Kichijoji!
These two images are also almost identical, further proving that the place where this scene takes place was heavily influenced by Kichijoji! This would be a great location to recreate scenes from the anime in cosplay, due to how similar it looks!
