If you’re anything like me, you will want to take part in as many kawaii activities in Tokyo as you can whilst you are there. There are so many kawaii things to do in Tokyo, it can be overwhelming for people who are going for their first time! 1. Give Your Nails a Kawaii Makeover
Tokyo is famous for it’s kawaii nail salons which will give you the kawaii nails you have always dreamed of! The designs they have on offer are absolutely crazy and super cute! You can choose from tons of designs or even come up with your own. They also offer many designs that are more ‘normal’ but still super cute. Prices vary depending on where you go, but if you want some crazy nails they can cost up to 10,000 yen (100 dollars) so make sure you take enough money with you!

2. Meet All Your Favorite Sanrio Characters at Sanrio Puroland
If you love Sanrio and all their characters, this is somewhere you HAVE to go! Sanrio Puroland is a small ‘theme park’ that is dedicated to everything Sanrio! You can ride small rides, meet characters and eat Sanrio themed food! There are also tons of live shows throughout the day for you to watch! It’s the perfect place to go with all your friends and dress up in your favorite characters merchandise together!

3. Eat The Cutest Ice Cream Ever in Harajuku
Eddy’s Ice Cream, located in Harajuku, offers some of the most kawaii ice creams in the whole of Tokyo! The best thing about this store is that you build the ice cream yourself, meaning you can make it as kawaii as you want! The store has tons of decorations for you to put on top of your ice cream and they all taste great too! If you’re someone who loves kawaii food, this is somewhere you HAVE to go!

4. Buy Some Super Kawaii Clothes on Cat Street
Cat Street and all the Harajuku backstreets in general are FULL of kawaii shops, just like this one! They sell vintage clothes that have been ‘kawaiified’ and also new kawaii clothing! Although Takeshita Street is amazing, it can be nice to go to Cat Street due to it being a more relaxed area with less people. One of my favorite shops is the one in the picture above. The shop itself is super instagram-worthy and also sells the CUTEST clothes! If you’re a kawaii fashion lover, Cat Street is the place to go!

5. Drink a Coffee at One of Tokyo’s Kawaii Cafes
Tokyo is full of kawaii cafes, no matter where you are you will be able to find a super cute one near you! One of my favorites is this cafe in Aoyama called ‘Little Darling Coffee Roasters’ but there are tons all around Tokyo! The coffee is always super nice and the decor is always very kawaii, perfect for instagram lovers!

6. Take Some Amazing Photos at Team Lab
Team Lab is a digital art gallery that has a series of rooms inside of it that you slowly walk through and experience. These are said to stimulate all senses and really engage the viewer! The experience is honestly amazing and like nothing else! It’s also a great place to take amazing photos, especially because some of the rooms are pink themed. For those looking to take some kawaii pictures whilst in Tokyo, you HAVE to go here!

7. Eat at The Pompompurin Cafe
The Pompompurin cafe is one of the cutest character cafes in the whole of Tokyo. The whole of the cafe is Pompompurin themed, including the decor and all food items! If you’re looking to eat at a kawaii restaurant in Tokyo, this is the one to go to. The food is super kawaii and decorated amazingly; it’s also very tasty and there is a wide range of dishes.

8. Buy Some Kawaii Makeup at Etude House
If you want some cute makeup in Tokyo, this is the best place to go to! All the items are super good quality and the packaging is also very kawaii!! This store also regularly collaborates with other brands. For example: Kit Kat and Hershey are two brands they collaborated with recently. I personally love their makeup and highly recommend this shop!
