Tokyo’s Most Instagram Worthy Shops 2020
If you’re going to Tokyo, you probably know that it is hub of all things kawaii and Instagrammable. From Instagram worthy cafes to intagrammable food, Tokyo really does have some of the best places that are MADE for Instagram. If you’re interested in Instagram worthy cafes, then check out our previous article all about them HERE! Today we’re going to be showing you the most Instagram worthy SHOPS in Tokyo, that are decorated amazingly and sell some super kawaii clothes! Although there are instagram worthy shops all over Tokyo, most of them are located in Harajuku and Shibuya…so that’s where we will be focusing this list today.
1. #FR2, Harajuku
#FR2 is a small boutique located in the Harajuku backstreets. This store is very popular to upload to instagram, especially at night when the whole shop is lit up with pink neon lights. The walls of the shop are also made to look like old metal which adds to the whole vibe of the shop. This shop is VERY instagrammable and it’s a great spot to take a picture of your outfit with the shop in the background.
Inside of the shop is also very instagramamble as there are pink neon sigs everywhere as well as other pink decorations. Oh…did I mention the clothes? The clothes on sale are some of the most unique clothes I’ve seen in Tokyo. The shop’s whole vibe is ‘street fashion’ so most of the clothes on sale are hoodies, t-shirts and trousers. Due to this being a small store the price of the clothes is fairly expensive. But if you’re looking to buy a special and unique piece whilst in Tokyo, you have to go here.

2. SPINNS, Shibuya 109
SPINNS is an affordable fashion shop aimed at young people. There are a few SPINNS shops around Tokyo, but the one in Shibuya 109 has recently be re-decorated and reopened recently. The decor is super cute and is VERY instagram worthy! The store have said that their inspiration came from mixing Japanese and Chinese street culture. Due to this, there are tons of neon signs around the shop as well as various store signs.
One of the best things about this store is that the clothes are SUPER cute and SUPER affordable. They have many different types of clothes from street style clothes to more ‘kawaii’ style. Other than clothes, the store also has a lot of jewelry and other accessories. If you’re looking for affordable, instagram worthy fashion in Tokyo…you have to check out this store.

3. STYLENANDA, Harajuku
If you know anything about Tokyo’s instagrammable spots, then you most likely know about STYLENANDA. The shop is famous for it’s many free photo spots that are made for instagram. On top of that, the store sells super cute fashion and cosmetics (which are also very instagrammable)!
STYLENANDA is originally a Korean store that has recently come to Tokyo and is located on Takeshita Street in Harajuku. Korea is also another place that is obsessed with making their stores and cafes instagrammable, so it’s no wonder this store is MADE for instagram!

4. NERDY, Harajuku
NERDY is a fairly new shop that has recently opened in Harajuku. The fashion brand was made by a Korean musician and was recently brought to Tokyo. The store itself is on three levels. The first level is a cafe, the second and third floors are the clothes shops. The second and third floors are decorated like a teenagers bedroom in the 90s. The decor is sure to bring up some nostalgic feelings for most of you!
The clothes are fairly simple but are very cool and unique! Due to this being a new and fairly small brand, the clothes are quite expensive with one of their tracksuit costing around 100 dollars. But if you love their stuff and want to treat yourself, then you have to check the shop out!

5. BERSHKA, Shibuya
Bershka is a fashion brand that has stores all over the world. However, the one in Tokyo is very special. The way the store is set out and decorated makes it PERFECT for instagram…in fact, you’ve probably seen it on your feed at some point! The store is decorated with huge mirrors with the background being completely red.
The clothes sold in the shop are also cute and affordable. Due to the shop being very global, the style of clothing sold in the shop is very different to what usual Japanese fashion stores sell.
