There are tons of cute cafes in Tokyo, but most of the famous ones are always super busy making it hard to enjoy the atmosphere and decor. On top of that, they usually charge super high prices for their drinks as they know people will buy them!

1. Little Darling Coffee Roasters, Aoyama
This cafe is great for Instagram, the outside, inside and even the cups they serve their drinks in are super cute and Instagram worthy! As if that’s not enough, the cafe also sells super cute clothing and other merch! This really is a great cafe worth visiting!

2. W/O Stand Cafe, Shimokitazawa
W/O Stand Cafe is a new cafe in Shimokitazawa that offers some of the best drinks and also the coolest decor. The shop is fairly small and uses simple colors but the total vibe of the cafe is very cool. As you can see in the images, there are not many seats in the shop, this is due to the fact that their concept is ‘coffee to go’ , which is clever and unique.

Cafe Zenon is an amazing cafe in Kichijoji that has been inspired by manga and art! There cafe features independent artwork throughout the cafe along with books and manga everywhere! Even the lights are made out of books and manga! The menu is full of unique and tasty drinks along with many food dishes!

This cafe is located in Harajuku and is famous famous for its amazing 3D LATTE ART! They do many based around characters, such as Totoro, and they also sell many 2D latte art lattes as well! You can choose your drink and then you can choose what art you want on top of it! This really is an amazing concept and adds an extra layer of fun to drinking coffee!

Hiroo is the new up and coming area of Tokyo, known for it’s growing amount of cute cafes, fashionable shops and much more! Canvas Tokyo is a cafe in Hiroo which is famous for it’s pretty drinks and delicious doughnuts! The cafe itself is also super cute, great for instagram shots.

6. Alfred Tea Room, Omotesando
If you love pink…you HAVE to go here! The decor of the shop is so cute it will make you want to take pictures with your drink everywhere! On the ground floor the cafe is a tapioca shop and on the first floor is an actual tea room where you can order food! They also have many vegan and gluten free options.

7. Hogurest Cafe, Okachimachi
If you’re wanting to go somewhere REALLY unique, you have to try out this ‘Ashiyu'(足湯) cafe. In Japanese ashi means foot/feet and yu means hot water…and that’s exactly what this cafe is! You can enjoy your drink whilst soaking your feet in warm water, it’s honestly one of the most relaxing things ever! You can also book in to get a massage at the same time! Urth Cafe actually came from LA and is famous for its delicious tapioca and teas! Each one of their drinks has a deep and rich tea flavor that can’t be tasted anywhere else, it’s delicious! This one is in Daikanyama but there are also stores in Omotesando and Harajuku.
