Review of The Movie

Before watching ‘Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Mugen train’ I had already read all the Demon Slayer manga chapters that the film covered. Due to this, I expected to be simply reminded of the events that occurred and enjoy watching the scenes play out on screen. However, the movie was a COMPLETELY different experience to the manga; it was like two completely different things. The anime took me on a journey of various emotions, both high and low, which at the end of the movie really made me feel touched at the story. The way the characters emotions were shown and the way the story was told was so different from he manga, it even made me tear up during some parts.

Although I knew the story from the manga, it was tolled beautiful in the film. It was easy to understand and follow and even more fun to experience than the manga! The action got my adrenaline racing and really made me feel like I was fighting with all the characters!

The music and screen play worked so well together to create amazing dramatic scenes. In particular, the battle scenes were mind blowing due to the movements, effects and music all working together; this really created many unforgettable scenes. Connected to this, the animation and graphics throughout the movie were so clear and beautiful, it really allowed me to be immersed into the film and feel like I was a part of it.

Overall, the movie was one of the best anime movies I’ve watched in a while, and the animation was certainly the best I’ve ever seen! If you have the chance to watch the movie in the cinema, you definitely should! The huge screen and surround sound really immerses you into the story and action on screen. Even if you can’t watch it in the cinema, I would highly recommend you watch this film as soon as possible if you’re a demon slayer fan!
