1. SEGA Arcade Buildings 1, 3 & 4

SEGA Arcade Akihabara
SEGA Arcade Akihabara

The SEGA arcades in Akihabara have to be the most iconic arcades that are located in Akihabara. They are the iconic red buildings that are usually shown in the background of people’s Akihabara pictures! There is a total of 4 SEGA arcades in Akihabara, each one of them different. However sadly the SEGA arcade 2 building had to be closed last year due to the lack of foreign tourists coming to Akihabara during the pandemic. The other 3 are still open though and consist of multiple floor, each being dedicated to different things. For example, some floors are dedicated to UFO catchers whilst others are dedicated to arcade games etc. If you can only visit one arcade during your time in Akihabara, I’d recommend visiting one of the SEGA arcades…due to how iconic and fun they are!

Locations:

SEGA 1: 1 Chome-10-9 Sotokanda, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 101-0021

SEGA 3: 101-0021 Tokyo, Chiyoda City, Sotokanda, 1 Chome−11−11
