Must-Visit Anime Events in Osaka 2021

But did you know that there are actually many anime events that are held just in Osaka and many events that are held in Osaka after being held in Tokyo! Anime events are usually help in collaboration with one anime, which is the theme for the whole event. Anime events are usually temporary and are held for 1-2 months. Anime events can be extremely popular so if you want to go to one, you will have to book your place as soon as possible.
Anime Events Being Held in Osaka 2021
1. My Hero Academia Exhibition (09/08/21 – 05/09/2021)
The creators of My Hero Academia are holding an exhibition in Osaka at the ‘Grand Front Osaka’. The event will be held until the from the 9th of August 2021 to the 5th of September 2021. Entry to the event costs 2000yen and tickets can be bought online or at Lawson. The event will include a full art/display exhibition as well as a merchandise shop at the end of the exhibition that will sell unique merchandise from the anime and event. There are also multiple photo spots throughout the event for you to get amazing pictures at!

2. Tokyo Revengers Cafe (01/08/21 – 22/08/21)
The creators of Tokyo Revengers will be teaming up with Tower Records Cafe is Osaka to create a Tokyo Revengers themed cafe! The cafe will include a full menu of Tokyo Revengers themed food and drink as well as a full shop of Tokyo Revengers merchandise that will be unique to the cafe! Due to the cafe being in collaboration with Tower Records, the merchandise shows the characters wearing Tower Records clothes and is music themed! The event will take place from the 1st of August 2021 to the 22nd of August 2021. Entrance to the event is free but menu items cost between 1000yen to 2000yen.

3. Haikyuu!! Exhibition (08/09/2021- 27/09/21)
A Haikyuu!! exhibition will be held in Osaka this September from the 8th to the 27th! Like the My Hero Academia exhibition previously mentioned in this article, the Haikyuu!! exhibition will feature various displays and art from the anime for fans to view! There will also be various photo spots and a merchandise shop to check out at the event! This event has limited tickets and will be held for a limited time so if you’re a Haikyuu!! fan who is currently in Osaka, you have to check out this Haikyuu!! event.

4. Jujutsu Kaisen Pop-up Store (30/06/21 – 18/07/21)
A Jujutsu Kaisen pop-up store will be held in Osaka this summer that offers fans to enter for free! The event will be held for just under a month from the 30th of June 2021 to the 18th of July 2021. The shop will open daily from 10am to 8pm! The store will sell new Jujutsu Kaisen merchandise that cannot be bought from anywhere but the event. The event will be held in the Daimaru Umeda shopping center on the 13th floor.

Popular anime ‘BLEACH’ will be teaming up with a famous Japanese cooking website ‘Cookpad’ to create a full BLEACH themed anime cafe in Osaka! The anime will include a full menu of food and drink that has been inspired by the anime. Due to the anime being related to the sea, most of the food on the menu is sea-food related however there are also other options available! The event will be held from the 21st of July 2021 to the 15th of August 2021. Entry to the event is free and most of the dishes cost 1,000yen to 2,000yen. This is the perfect event for all BLEACH anime fans who are currently in Osaka!
