New Demon Slayer Exhibition Opening in Tokyo 2021


If you’re an anime and manga lover, it is highly likely that you have already watched and love ‘Demon Slayer’, or Kimetsu No Yaiba in Japanese! The anime and manga are heart warming and tear jerking, as well as having some of the best action scenes ever! Since the release of the anime there have been multiple Demon Slayer themed events held in Tokyo, all of which are perfect for any Kimetsu No Yaiba fan to visit! Since the announcement of the release of the second season, which is set to be released later this year (2021), it has also been announced that there will be a Demon Slayer themed exhibition held in Tokyo around the same time!! The Kimetsu No Yaiba Exhibition will include multiple displays of original artwork from the manga artist and also information on the making of the manga and anime. So, if you’re a Demon Slayer anime fan who will be in Tokyo during autumn/winter 2021, make sure to keep reading to find out how you can visit the Kimetsu No Yaiba Exhibition!



About The Demon Slayer Exhibition

The Demon Slayer Exhibition is officially titled ‘『鬼滅の刃』吾峠呼世晴原画展’, which can be read ” ‘Kimetsu No Yaiba’ Godōge-koyo-hara-gengaten”. The focus on the exhibition will be on the official art pieces that were created by the manga artist for the Demon Slayer manga. There will also be multiple never before seen Kimetsu No Yaiba art pieces on display throughout the exhibition. On top of this, the Demon Slayer exhibition will go into detail about how the artwork was created and how it was turned into anime. This information will be given through insights from the Demon Slayer manga artist and also the animation studio. Due to this, this is information that you won’t be able to find out anywhere else but the exhibition!

The Demon Slayer exhibition will be held in the Mori Arts Center, located in Roppongi Hills. This is an extremely famous place to hold art exhibitions in Tokyo and entrance tickets also include entry to the viewing tower, due to the gallery being held on the 54th floor of the building! The Demon Slayer exhibition will be held from the 26th of October 2021 to the 12th of December 2021. The exhibition will be held daily from 10:00AM to 20:00PM. Tickets can be bought on the door before entry or online via the official website closer to the time of the event.

Demon Slayer Merchandise on Sale at the Exhibition

The organizers of the exhibition have stated that there will be official Demon Slayer merchandise at the event but specifics have not yet been announced. Due to The Mori Arts Center being such a big event space, it is very likely that they will collaborate with Demon Slayer to bring out new and original goods that can only be bought at the exhibition! This, of course, has not yet been officially announced but it is very likely that this will be the case. At previous anime and manga exhibitions that have been held at the Mori Arts Center, there have been many different types of merchandise on sale such as bags, stationary, photo cards, clothes and much more! So if you’re wanting to buy some new Kimetsu No Yaiba merchandise, this is another great reason to visit this exhibition!
