Top 5 Anime Stores in Tokyo
K-BOOKS have branches in both Ikebukuro and Akihabara. They sell everything that is related to anime and manga and even BUY certain things for a reasonable price! Due to this they have tons of rare collectable items on offer, so it’s definitely worth going to have a look there!

ANIMATE is one of the largest chains of anime shops in Japan. They have stores in multiple locations but their biggest is located in Akihabara. ANIMATE sells figurines, anime merchandise, manga, cosplay and much more! All for a fairly reasonable price! If you can only go to one anime shop in Tokyo, I’d highly recommend you go here!

3. JUMP SHOP
I’m sure you’ve all heard of the popular anime magazine titled Shonen Jump which gave birth to some of Japan’s most famous anime, including Naruto and Dragon Ball Z. To celebrate these amazing anime, the Jump Shop was opened which sells everything related to the Shonen Jump Anime. If you’re interested in any of these anime series’ this is the place to go!

4. One Piece Mugiwara Store
This store is perfect for One Piece fans! This store sells everything from figurines to manga, all related to One Piece! There are also multiple photo spots dotted around the store where you can take photos with your favorite characters!!

5. Nakano Broadway
Technically Nakano Broadway is more of a shopping mall rather than a shop but, due to the sheer amount of anime stores there, I think it still counts! Nakano Broadway has tons of independent anime shops where you can find rare collectibles for a great price! It’s especially great for it’s figurine shops which can be a lot cheaper that regular ones! Very worth checking out!!
