The Demon Slayer manga and Demon Slayer anime, also known as Kimetsu No Yaiba (鬼滅の刃) in Japanese, has taken the otaku world by storm. It rapidly grew in popularity due it being available on Netflix. Since it’s debut, people have become invested with the characters and their stories so much that they want to experience it as much as possible in real life! If you are coming to Tokyo, and you love the Demon Slayer manga and anime, you HAVE to check out these amazing Demon Slayer events that are on in Tokyo right now!

1. Kimetsu No Yaiba X ufotable DINING Collaboration Cafe

This Demon Slayer Cafe has recently opened in Shinjuku, Tokyo and it is somewhere you HAVE to go if you’re a Kimetsu No Yaiba fan! The menu is full of many different dishes which all come with Demon Slayer decorations on them! Like many anime cafes, you must choose from two different courses on the menu. Both courses come with a drink, appetizer, side dish, main dish and dessert. Both cost 3,056yen.

After ordering your food, you will receive FREE Demon Slayer artwork as a gift! The artwork is different depending on which course you choose! Other than the free artwork, there are TONS of original Demon Slayer merchandise on sale at the cafe! The merchandise includes things such as posters, badges, clear files, and tumblers.
If you’re a Kimetsu No Yaiba fan and you’re going to Tokyo soon, this is somewhere you HAVE to go!

2. Demon Slayer X Animate

If you’r looking for Demon Slayer merchandise in Tokyo, then you HAVE to go to Animate in Tokyo! They have recently come out with their full range of Demon Slayer merchandise and there is more on the way! The shop has the FULL range of the Demon Slayer manga which, due to it’s popularity, has been given a special section in the shop!

Near the anime, the shop also has a huge range of Demon Slayer merchandise which includes things such as character plushies, magnets, badges, posters, stationary and MUCH MORE! At the store that I went to in Akihabara, they also had a small TV above the merchandise that was playing the anime which was super cool! If you’re in Tokyo and are looking for Demon Slayer merchandise Animate is the place to go!

3. Demon Slayer Stage Show

When an anime is popular in Japan, the creators often turn it into a stage show, and it’s usually for a very limited time! In January, Demon Slayer will be made into a stage show with talented actors playing the roles of each of the characters. These stage shows are usually have a similar vibe to musicals, with music being played throughout and the characters artistically creating various scenes from the anime as well as dancing.

These shows are usually super fun so I have no doubt that this Demon Slayer stage show will be very fun and will be worth going! Tickets cost 9,800yen which is quite pricey so this event is not for those traveling on a budget. Tickets can be bought outside of Japan HERE.
